Aix-Marseille University’s Doctoral College is pleased to announce that the 1st edition of the DOC2AMU INTERDISCIPLINARY DOCTORAL DAY will be held on October 13th 2017 at the Saint-Charles Campus (Amphitheatre de Sciences Naturelles), downtown Marseille.
The event is organized in the framework of H2020-MSCA-COFUND DOC2AMU Doctoral programme and co-financed by European Commission’s Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Action, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region and A*MIDEX Foundation.
This event is dedicated to AMU’s doctoral candidates, in particular those working on interdisciplinary thesis projects, whatever their funding programme is (DOC2AMU, Inter-ED, A*MIDEX, … etc), and to their thesis supervisors with the aim of allowing them to meet, present their work, share their research methodologies and discuss their results and objectives reached so far.
The topic of the Doc day will be on climate change and interdisciplinary research in general.
As indicated in the attached programme, there will be invited talks, short presentations by doctoral candidates in the final year of their thesis and poster sessions. All doctoral candidates conducting interdisciplinary research, whatever the subject, are invited to participate in the Doc day's programme.
The closing date for registration is 30 September 2017. For doctoral students, registration is made online on ADUM (DOC2AMU INTERDISCIPLINARY DOCTORAL DAY) at the following address: www.adum.fr, tab « Catalogue de formations ». 8 hours of interdisciplinary training may, after evaluation of the day, be counted by doctoral students as part of their Individual Training Contract.
